Police in Green Bay were busy last weekend, apparently. They arrested two men for unrelated incidents within the span of a few hours.

One was arrested on burglary and other charges after a string of burglaries on Green Bay's west side. Police say they responded to the area after they received several calls about a suspicious person apparently attempting to break into people's homes in the area.

The man , who is 19 years old, was arrested and was charged Monday with two counts of burglary, one count of resisting or obstructing an officer, one count of possession of burglarious tools, and two counts of felony bail jumping.

Another man, meanwhile, was arrested for a shooting incident. According to WTAQ's website, the Green Bay Police Department's SWAT team was called to a residence on Stuart Street. The SWAT team executed a federal warrant.

Police claim he was involved in a shooting outside a McDonald's restaurant on New Year's Day. The man was apparently wanted in connection with the incident, during which he allegedly fired two shots into a vehicle after an altercation. It happened in a parking lot outside the fast food restaurant. No one was hurt in the incident. It's not clear what exactly he was charged with. Police say they considered him to be armed and dangerous.

While both of these men were arrested for very different reasons, they face similar challenges: Both will need qualified attorneys to guide them through the legal process and make sure their rights are protected.
